This simple funfetti mug cake is packed with flavour and colour! Plus it just uses basic pantry staples and requires no eggs or butter. You can easily use seasonal sprinkles to make it more festive as well.
2tbsp (22g)canola oil(or any neutral oil, like avocado oil)
1/4tspvanilla extract
3-4dropsalmond extract(*see notes)
1tbsp (10g)sprinkles
Instructions
In a microwave safe mug or dish, add the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk until combined.
Add in the milk, oil, vanilla extract and almond extract. Whisk until fully combined and then stir in the sprinkles.
Microwave for about 90 seconds. You may need a little longer depending on the wattage of your microwave. If it still looks a little wet on the edges, pop it in for another 15-30 seconds.
Allow to cool, add any toppings you like and enjoy!
Notes
*Don't add too much almond extract as it is very strong. I usually use less than 1/8 tsp. If you don't have any, than just skip it.
