Chocolate Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip

Today, I’ve got another delicious snack, or even meal depending on how hungry you are. My chocolate peanut butter yogurt dip is the perfect snack when you want a sweet treat but also a healthy choice. It’s filled with protein and fibre so you’ll stay full until your next meal too.

Greek yogurt is a staple in our house as it’s so easy to mix into things and add some protein. It’s also great for your gut health with all the probiotics. Today, I wanted to turn my yogurt into a dip to go with my apple and I wasn’t disappointed. Although, I will say, I like the dip better with strawberries or teddy grahams!

This dip is great to mix up before hand and keep in the fridge for an after school snack for the kiddos as well. Pair it with some fruit and they’ll be grand until dinner. You can’t really go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate.

For some other filling snacks, try my crispy air fryer cinnamon chickpeas or my chocolate chip banana bread.

Yes, vanilla Greek yogurt would be delicious, just keep in mind, flavoured yogurt is already heavily sweetened so you may not need to add the maple syrup.

Pretty much any fruit, like berries, apples, banana or grapes.

Teddy grahams, graham crackers or pretzels would also be delicious.

I don’t recommend it as it tends to be more runny. I haven’t tried it but I think it would ruin the consistency of the dip.

Yes, just ensure all your individual ingredients are gluten free.

As a side note, if making anything gluten free for someone with an allergy, ensure you thoroughly wash any equipment, jars or utensils. Any contact with flour may trigger an allergy. I like to say any baking I do in my own home is gluten friendly as I am using flour often and cannot guarantee there’s been no cross contamination.

For some more gluten free snacks, try my oat flour peanut butter bread, with over 10g of protein or my chocolate almond banana muffins.

  • If you’re using flavoured Greek yogurt, be careful how much maple syrup you add as it’s already sweetened.
  • Sift your cocoa powder if it’s really clumpy to make it easier to stir.
  • I create my recipes based off weights so I recommend measuring by weights if you own a scale . It’s actually so much easier and makes for much less cleanup. I wish I had baked by weight from the beginning, I could never go back now.

Today’s song is a nostaligic one. I can’t listen to the Beach Boys without feeling nostalgic, especially for my beloved 90’s sitcoms, mainly Full House. Here’s Sloop John B by The Beach Boys. Happy baking! **Disclaimer: Liv’s Little Muffins owns no rights to this song.
